  • Review of an organization’s existing development program to evaluate and recommend next steps for growth, including but not limited to:
    • Comprehensive review and evaluation of existing development materials
    • On-site visit includes interviews of leadership team members, finance officer, development staff, development advisory board members, select donors, select organizational members and other significant constituents
    • Oral exit report with preliminary findings and recommendations
    • Final written report with findings and recommendations to assist in planning for future growth
    • Presentation of final report to appropriate audiences

Organizational Mergers

  • Provide counsel to newly merged congregations needing to evaluate the development efforts of their merging entities in order to create one unified development program

Development Strategic Planning

  • Work with an organization’s leadership team and development staff to formulate a multi-year development strategic plan
  • Assist in analysis of the organization’s current development program and the formulation of future goals, strategies and timelines

Readiness Assessment to Start a Development Program

  • Conduct a readiness and responsiveness assessment which focuses on characteristics and conditions that must be present for a development program to be successful
  • Evaluation of the internal and external development environments
  • Gathering of information and testing of assumptions through a specific sequence of activities
  • Identification of environmental and institutional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges for beginning a development program are presented in a written report

  • Workshops tailored to the needs of leadership teams to assist them in understanding their essential role in the ministry of development
  • Workshops specific to the role of members of religious congregations to assist them in understanding their essential role in their congregation’s development program
